Final Fantasy XIII

A self-proclaimed arrogant hero with a charming smile and a heart of gold. A heavy, no nonsense ally you can trust to laugh intelligent and a big hug. These characters sound like stereotypes about the role Standard Play, but the credit for Final Fantasy XIII, which transcend the formula and squirming in his heart. Like a whole lot of other models from Final Fantasy, The Misfits, the center of this story feel like old friends, like old friends that will delight your mind, move your heart, and sometimes exasperated. Its history is important and convincing – as absorbent as you’d expect in a room long term role. Such is the case, given the pleasure of the game, but imperfect tissue around this excellent story. This is a very concentrated, adventure that offers exceptional linear no illusions of choice, but never in them. Fortunately, the combat system is fun and appealing, once all elements are in place and maintain the momentum, even when he is calm moments in the history of the second half. However, do not deter defects and fun to play Final Fantasy XIII. It is a magnificent role game that offers emotional pathos and production values are expected to find this beloved series.

During this magical encounter triad, creating sparks.
The arrogant hero mentioned is the snow, the spiritual leader of a motley group of rebels in the world of Cocoon, but not the soul of the story of Final Fantasy XIII. That honor goes to Ray, a beautiful, strong-willed beauty in a vision quest to save his sister. In the first moments of the game, you meet both Ray and his partner accidentally Sagene, pilot starting with a big heart, which houses an African girl chocobo. (Do not worry: the absurd humor is not pushed to the extreme.) Finally, this duo is joined by four others, joined by the dramatic events, past intertwined, and apparently an unattainable goal. The cast is diverse and members to play off of each item. The tension between lightning and snow stubbornly high facility where anger gave way to honesty. A young man named Hope enables blind revenge cloud his view, even assuming nothing will stop his heart broke a hemorrhage. With one exception, is winning on the characters that are easy to wear, offering an oasis of comfort and familiarity into a beautiful, but unusual. This exception is vanilla, a foundling whose voice endlessly irritating squeaks and strong monosyllabic superbubbly exceed the tolerable limits, even in a genre known for garish, bright eyes heroines. Fortunately, most of the dialogue and voice acting is quite good, although the role of the game purists should note that there is no option to hear the original voice tracks of Japan.

It is better to learn the intricacies of the history of their own, given the constant stream of blows and the drama it provides. However, the excellent framework deserve special mention. Giant Metal Lord called fal’Cie more than two worlds: the underworld known hazardous materials and the pulse and high technology, sophisticated design Cocoon world that floats above. Cocoon is shining bright and crystal crafts a fascinating marriage of organic and synthetic. Finely wrought and sophisticated machinery buildings dominate the urban funds, and each stone and the last tower is as if the greatest care was in its creation. Attention to detail is impressive, so there is always something that catches your attention, if the barrier luxury fabric, decorative patterns of spread across a wall like ivy, or the complexity of networks of pipes and plates. The design is beautiful and varied, however, is also consistent. Not a detail seems irrelevant.

Snow chooses his class ring.
The beauty begins with art, but the technology that brings to life is almost as impressive. Some frame rate rarely drops aside, almost every battle, and every step of the journey is moving smoothly. In battle, party members and monsters that hovers over the battlefield while the effects of number of leaves and damage float saturate bright screen. Outside of battles, landscapes and idyllic scenes impress always impressive. You may notice some smooth textures, if you look closely, particularly in the area from prehistory to the future, which also happens to be the largest in the middle of the game can be explored. However, Final Fantasy is so beautiful and works so well that these complaints seem minor. Almost needless to say, beautiful images are accompanied by a soundtrack just as charming, which is remarkable both for the fan of theater and more peaceful than the contrast between them.

As you make your way through the aircraft and the crystal cave, the narrow focus of the trip will be almost as amazing as the beautiful environment. Some games of the series were significantly linear, but Final Fantasy XIII is even more striking in this regard than their predecessors. Although there are some exceptions, as in the virgin prairie mentioned above, usually moves in one direction: forward. If you feel overwhelmed in battle, turning enemies to exploit the recurrence and grow a little stronger before leaving, but rarely. The linearity is more pronounced because of halls and corridors that follow are fairly similar, and there are few jobs outside offer plenty of variety – no mini-games to complete, no puzzles to solve, and With a few key moments, no cities are populated by the survey.

Ray returns with a weapon called Flamberge. No, it’s a kind of egg.
The advantage of linearity is that history continues his excellent step in the first half. Final Fantasy XIII is opened at a central section that allows you to take a little side quests that involve killing a monster or a group of monsters. Unfortunately, that’s where the story begins to lose some of its edge, the characters lose their concentration and the game follows suit, doing little to break the vagabond. A walk in a high tower that still exists for a long time – perhaps ironic that, since you want the game back to its previous rate, linearity and everything. When the final chapters start, the plot becomes exciting again, and quickly put the tempo. It is easy to appreciate the degree of freedom because of its rarity, but the story does not have languished so drastically.

Fortunately, the action units farther away. It starts simply, but at the end of the game will test your fingers and mind. This is a help menu of combat, and though it only directly controls one party member, you maintain indirect control of two adventurers who join you. Every action you take, be it an attack or spell, use a number of segments in the ATB gauge (eg, your action bar). The indicator always moves upward, so that the battles take place in real time, although the dependence of the fight in the menus and the inherent limitations of the Indicator battles feel like more of a turn -based/real-time hybrids. When it reaches its upper limit, it will make the sequence of actions that have tails. (Conversely, it can disrupt their movements trigger bar and accumulated before he reaches that point). The trick is that you can not access their skills in any way. Instead, each group member assumes certain roles – doctor, command, saboteur, and so on. If you saw combat as a saboteur, can be carried out acts of sabotage (Poison, Curse, Slow, and others), but it can switch roles at any time, every time I trained in the role assumed .
